How to Connect Your First Platform
Connecting a platform tells BrandGhost where to publish on your behalf. This is the first step for both the SEO/local search track (Google Business Profile) and the Social track (social media accounts).
Option A — Connect Google Business Profile (SEO / local search)

From your BrandGhost dashboard, find the onboarding checklist card.

Click Connect GBP.
You'll be redirected to Google to sign in and grant access to your Business Profile.

After granting access, you'll land back on your BrandGhost dashboard with Google Business Profile connected.
Option B — Connect a Social Account

From the dashboard, click Connect accounts on the checklist, or go to the Platforms tab in the Your Business page directly.

Choose the platform you want to connect (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Threads, Bluesky).

Complete the platform's sign-in and permission prompts.

Confirm the account now shows as Connected on the Platforms tab.
Tips
- You can connect more than one platform — each additional platform expands where your content reaches.
- If a connection fails, disconnect and retry; most failures are expired third-party sessions, not a BrandGhost issue.
