Turn on BrandGhost's Global Lead Capture CTA and every blog reader who signs up lands in HubSpot automatically. The CTA is an email sign-up box that appears on your blog articles. Each sign-up is saved to your BrandGhost Leads dashboard and synced to the CRM you connect, with no forms or links to build.
Before you start
You need:
- A BrandGhost account with your blog set up
- A HubSpot account you can sign in to
Only CTA sign-ups go to HubSpot. BrandGhost sends HubSpot the contacts captured through the blog's Global Lead Capture CTA. Other contacts are not synced.
Step 1: Open the Blog tab
In BrandGhost, click Blog in the top menu.
Step 2: Open the CTA settings
At the top of the Blog Articles page, find the Global Lead Capture CTA row. Until it's set up, it shows Off and "Not configured yet." Click Manage on the right of that row.
Step 3: Turn it on and write your CTA
Switch Enabled on, then fill in the fields. Visitors type their email right in the box, so there's no link to set up.
| Field | What to write | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Heading | The benefit of signing up, in one line | Build the content your business needs to get discovered. |
| Body text | One short sentence that backs up the heading | Start free. See your content strategy in under 3 minutes. |
| Button label | A short action | Learn more |
| Image (optional) | Your logo or a small brand graphic | Your logo |
Write for the people reading your blog. A bookkeeping firm might use "Get out of bookkeeping mode and back into owner mode" with a Subscribe button.
Step 4: Connect HubSpot
Below the button label, a note explains that captured leads go to your Leads dashboard and sync to any CRM you connect. Click Connect a CRM →, choose HubSpot, and follow the prompts to sign in and approve the connection.
When it's done, the note reads Connected: HubSpot.
Step 5: Confirm it's on
Close the settings panel. Back on the Blog Articles page, the Global Lead Capture CTA row now shows a green On badge. You're done.
To test it, open a published article, enter an email in the CTA, then check that it shows up in your Leads dashboard and in HubSpot contacts.
